#23 VIDEO PINBALL

Pinball Machines are still my favorite arcade machines of them all. So no surprise anything pinball related I loved to play. This game I played the heck out of. Even had tournaments with my friends. PINBALL WIZARD 🙂

#24 BREAKOUT

This was one of the first Atari games I owned. I was glad to be able to play it on my TV. I always played breakout on my Microvision. It was called Block Buster.

Breakout is an arcade game developed and published by Atari, Inc.[1] It was conceptualized by Nolan Bushnell and Steve Bristow, influenced by the 1972 Atari arcade game Pong, and built by Steve Wozniak aided by Steve Jobs. The game was ported to multiple platforms and upgraded to video games such as Super Breakout. In addition, Breakout was the basis and inspiration for books, video games, film, and the Apple II personal computer.

In the game, a layer of bricks lines the top third of the screen. A ball travels across the screen, bouncing off the top and side walls of the screen. When a brick is hit, the ball bounces away and the brick is destroyed. The player loses a turn when the ball touches the bottom of the screen. To prevent this from happening, the player has a movable paddle to bounce the ball upward, keeping it in play.

#25 PONG

This is where it all started.  Of course this was one of my favorites and one of the first video games I ever played. I first played it on a system that looked like this.

Later I had this cartridge, that was made by Sears, but worked with my Atari.
